McConnell Reserve Unit to hold Change of Command Ceremony

The 931st Air Refueling Wing, the Air Force Reserve Component will host a Change of Command Ceremony here at 9:31 a.m., Saturday, Dec. 1, 2018, at Hangar 1126.

 

Col. Phil Heseltine will assume command of the 931 ARW.  Heseltine was previously the vice commander the for the 22nd Air Refueling Wing, the active duty component at McConnell.

 

Col. Eric Vitosh, who acted as the interim commander of the 931 ARW since September 2017, will relinquish command of the Wing to assume his civilian pilot career.  He will continue as the 931 ARW vice commander.

 

Maj. Gen. Randall Ogden, Commander, 4th Air Force, Air Force Reserve Command, March Air Reserve Base, Calif., will preside over the Change of Command Ceremony.

 

The 931 ARW is an associate unit with the active duty 22 ARW at McConnell.  More than 700 Airmen are assigned to the 931 ARW.
