Recruiters, Cadets soar in KC-46A

Chief Master Sgt. Ray Lewis, 905th Air Refueling Squadron command chief and KC-46A Pegasus boom operator, explains the features of the aircraft’s air refueling boom to Emily Love, Air Force Reserve Officers’ Training Detachment 270 at Kansas State University cadet, April 10, 2021, at McConnell Air Force Base, Kan. Love was part of a tour that included 25 recruiters from the 507th Air Refueling Wing, the 352nd Recruiting Squadron, and five cadets from Detachment 270. They flew on two KC-46A Pegasus air refueling missions during the April Unit Training Assembly. The flights were part of a three-day tour of the 931st Air Refueling Wing, to display to the recruiters and cadets the full-range of the Reserve mission at Team McConnell.
