Larson, commander of the Air Force Reserve recently re-designated 931st Air Refueling Wing, McConnell Air Force Base, Kan., conducted visits with four Kansas Congressman on May 24, 2016. Larson was participating in the Commander's Capitol Hill Visit Program, a program through which commanders of Air Force units visit with congressional members to discuss issues affecting Airmen as well as their units.
  • 931st FSS services flight continues to grow

    The transition of the 931st from a group to wing has been accompanied by several other changes. The 931 FSS previously had no flight directly responsible for dining, lodging, mortuary affairs and the fitness center, but established a new unit in October 2014 in anticipation of the upgrade in status from group to wing. The wing is already benefiting from the creation and development of this flight. It's enacted an automated telephone system for members to reserve lodging for Unit Training Assemblies.
