Turning Fuel into Freedom

This sign, at a deployment location in Southwest Asia. refers to the aerial refueling capabilities of KC-135 Stratotankers and other Air Force aircraft. Aerial refueling is the primary mission of the 931st Air Refueling Group, an Air Force Reserve unit at McConnell Air Force Base, Kan. More than 10 percent of the Reservists assigned to the 931st ARG are helping turn "fuel into freedom" while currently deployed in support of overseas contingencies. (Courtesy photo/Master Sgt.
