The food was prepared in celebration of the 931st ARG's May celebration of Asian-Pacific American Heritage Month, and served to the air and ground crewmembers during the hour-long airplane preflight prior to the airborne training mission. One of the highlights was 18th ARS Lt Col Tsuyoshi Tung's popular Szechuan recipe, aptly-named "Colonel Tung's Chicken."
