Team McConnell Tours new Air Traffic Control Tower

MCCONNELL AIR FORCE BASE, Kan. --  Team McConnell joined leaders from the local community for a ribbon cutting ceremony celebrating the new air traffic control tower today. Construction for the new tower lasted about 540 days. It features 10 floors and stands at approximately 120 feet tall, 34 feet taller than the old tower. (U.S. Air Force photo by Tech. Sgt.
