Awards, recognition for 931st members home from deployment

MCCONNELL AIR FORCE BASE, Kan. -- Lt. Col. Eric Vitosh, commander of the 18th Air Refueling Squadron, and Col. Mark S. Larson, commander of the 931st Air Refueling Group, present a certifcate and patch commemorating 200 combat sorties flown to Capt. Adam Wear, a pilot assigned to the 18 ARS, at McConnell Air Force Base, Kan., April 21, 2013.

Several members of the 18 ARS were awarded certificates and patches commemorating combat sorties flown during a post-deploment briefing held this morning. The members returned from a deployment to Southwest Asia yesterday. The deployed members had spent the previous two months supporting ongoing U.S. overseas operations.
