Award winners recognized during commander's call

MCCONNELL AIR FORCE BASE, Kan. --  Members of the 931st Air Refueling Group were honored as award winners during a commander's call held here during the April UTA.

Quarterly Award winners were as follows:

Airman: Senior Airman Michelle Horter, 18th Air Refueling Squadron

Noncommissioned Officer: Tech. Sgt. Georgia Buxton, 931st Deputy Commander for Maintenance/Quality Assurance

Senior Noncommissioned Officer: Master Sgt. Brannen Parrish, 931 ARG/Public Affairs

Company Grade Officer: 1st Lt. Craig Van Praag, 931st Maintenance Squadron

Civilian: Ms. Christine Wasiewski, 931st Maintenance Operations Flight

Additionally, Capt. Michael Murphy was recognized for being named Air Force Reserve Command Safety Officer of the Year (Additional Duty.)

Col. Mark S. Larson, commander of the 931st Air Refueling Group, also presented a commander's coin to 10 members of the group for their performance during an ATSO rodeo held earlier in the day.
