An aircraft maintainer from the 90th Expeditionary Air Refueling Squadron stands behind the refueling boom of a KC-135 Stratotanker to conduct final pre-flight checks prior to takeoff from Incirlik Air Base, Turkey. Aircraft maintainers work together with operators to perform an extensive list of checks prior to each sortie to ensure all systems on the aircraft are functioning properly.
