The 4th Air Force Commander, Maj. Gen. Mark A. Kyle, visited the Airmen of the 931st Air Refueling Group and the 22nd Air Refueling Wing here, April 14.

Kyle toured the maintenance complex, spoke to the Airmen about the total force integration initiatives and listened to their perspectives on the progress of TFI units.

He stated he was impressed with the nearly seamless level of integration between the 931st ARG and the 22nd ARW.

"I'm proud of the work everyone is doing together," Kyle noted. "I can't tell the active duty Airmen from the Reserve Airmen, and it's good to see them working so well together."

Kyle concluded his tour with an all call at the base theater and answered questions about Air Force trends. He noted that one of his major goals for 4th Air Force is to build awareness of the Numbered Air Force's role in filling taskings for the service.

"On any given day, 4th Air Force has 5,000 people doing the work of the Air Force," Kyle said. "I'm well aware of how we contribute and we are going to take it to the next level and make the world well aware of our contribution."
