931st announces annual award winners

MCCONNELL AIR FORCE BASE, Kan. --  The 931st Air Refueling Group has announced the annual award winners for 2011.  The award winners were selected after a careful review of nomination packages conducted by a selection board.

The annual award winners are as follows:

Company Grade Officer of the Year:  Capt. Austin R. Aggson, 18th ARS

Senior Noncommissioned Officer of the Year:  Master Sgt. John D. Grindstaff, 931st AMXS

Noncomissioned Officer of the Year:  Tech. Sgt. Megan J. Legacy, 931st CES

Airman of the Year:  Airman 1st Class Arenda S. Jackson, 931st AMXS

"We have an outstanding collection of Airmen here, and I offer my sincere congratulations to all our award nominees.  Our yearly winners truly represent the best of the best, and I wish them luck as they go forward to compete at the next level," said Col. William H. Mason, 931st Air Refueling Group commander.

The 931st annual award winners will now be forwarded to 4th Air Force for consideration and submission for the 12 Oustanding Airmen of the Year Award.
