A 931st Air Refueling Group program to provide gifts for the families of Reservists who are in need is set to kick off Nov. 1.

The 931st ARG Commanders and first sergeants are nominating families of Reservists who are in need of assistance purchasing gifts for the holiday season. Reservists who know of a family requiring support with gift purchases can contact their commanders or first sergeants to recommend the family.

Base personnel select a tag from the angel tree and purchase a gift for the individual. Members can purchase gifts or gift cards for the recipient. The names of nominees are kept confidential.

Last year the program successfully supported 13 families.

"We received a tremendous degree of support from our members, last year," said Master Sgt. Rachael Forrest, Human Resources Development Council President. "We hope to match that support this year."

Gift givers need to bring in their unwrapped gifts with the tags to room 125 in building 1170 here by Dec. 8.
