For the 11th straight year, Air Force Reserve Command recruiters reached their annual recruiting goal, recording 10,150 enlistments on Sept. 22.

The 400 men and women who recruit for the Air Force Reserve had until Sept. 30, the end of the fiscal year, to meet the goal.

The recruiters from the 931st Air Refueling Group at McConnell Air Force Base, Kan., did their part in the effort, recording 107 enlistments for the year to date. The recruiters from McConnell AFB are also part of the Tinker AFB Main Recruiting Operating Location. The recruiters in Kansas and Oklahoma were able to place 367 new accessions into the Air Force Reserve. This includes both the unit and Individual Mobility Augmentee program.

"We did very well. We set our goals for the year and we not only met them, we exceeded them. So I'm very proud of that number," said Tech. Sgt. Nathan Gilroy, a 931st Air Refueling Group recruiter.

Gilroy said he's excited about the quality of individuals who are joining the 931st.

"We are always looking for career-minded folks, and we continue to have top-notch people coming in. We have people from all walks of life who want to serve globally and live locally, and as a Reserve unit we're able to offer them that opportunity."

The command's goal number was reached when Dominick Tami became the 10, 150th person to join the Air Force Reserve. His enlistment was put in at 10:12 a.m. by Master Sgt. Randi Baum at Youngstown Air Reserve Station, Ohio.

"This achievement is a testament to your enthusiasm and your commitment to excellence," said Col. Joe Wilburn, Reserve Recruiting Service commander, in congratulating his recruiters on making their goal. "I'm proud to serve with you."
