Brannen Parrish 931st Air Refueling Group Public Affairs MCCONNELL AIR FORCE BASE, Kan. -- The 931st Air Refueling Group opened the air bridge for 14 Wichita-area clergy, allowing them a rare opportunity to fly in an aircraft during an aerial refueling. The ministers were nominated by 931st ARG Airmen as part of the organization's orientation flight program. Flying aboard a KC-135 Stratotanker the clergy observed while 931st ARG boom operators refueled a B-52 Stratfortress. Orientation flights allow civic leaders, employers, clergy and media to gain a better understanding of the role reserve forces play in the Air Force and Department of Defense mission.
