Tech. Sgt. Chastity Forrest will soon be Master Sgt. Chastity Forrest. She was selected for the new rank through the Air Force Promotion Enhancement Program, or "PEP," as it is commonly known.

Sergeant Forrest is the noncommissioned officer in charge of aircrew flight equipment for the 931st Operations Support Flight. Her husband, Capt. Trey Forrest, is a KC-135 Stratotanker pilot assigned to the 18th Air Refueling Squadron, the flying unit of the 931st Air Refueling Group. Both are traditional Air Force reservists.

PEP is a commander's program designed to promote outstanding and well-deserving Airmen. Sergeant Forrest's promotion to master sergeant is effective Oct. 1, 2009.
