MCCONNELL AIR FORCE BASE, Kan. --  Aircraft Maintenance Airmen fasten an intake cover to the jet engine of a KC-135 Stratotanker at McConnell Air Force Base, Kan. An Air Force Reserve aircrew from the 931st Air Refueling Squadron had just returned the aircraft to the base on a July 2009 evening. Airmen from the 22nd Air Refueling Wing, the 931st's active-duty host unit, received and maintained the returning tanker.
