ALS graduates Class 19-F
Congratulations to Senior Airman Adrienne Thompson, who completed Airman Leadership School Aug. 22, 2019, at McConnell Air Force Base, Kan. Thompson was one of two Reservists in the class. ALS is a 24 duty day United States Air Force program designed to develop Airmen into effective front-line supervisors. It is the first professional military education that enlisted Air Force members encounter. Upon completion of ALS, the graduate receives the ability to write performance reports on subordinates. This allows the graduate the ability to supervise regardless if he or she currently holds the rank of Staff Sergeant. Airman Leadership School covers Combat Leader, Military Professional, Supervisor of Airmen, verbal and written communication, and group dynamics. A majority of the instruction focuses around various Air Force rules and regulations. Reservists can complete the course in-residence or through correspondence. (Courtesy photo)
