The 931st Air Refueling Wing welcomes the new 931st ARW command chief, Chief Master Sgt. Lorna Elaine Major.

“It is an honor and a pleasure to join the family, and I look forward to serving as your Command Chief. I am excited to transition from headquarters back to the tactical world where I can share the things I have learned and get back into the fight at the field level.

I have missed the people, and I am truly excited to get to know you. As Optimus Prime said, ‘Thrones are for Decepticons… I’d rather roll!’

I am a southern girl with a west coast background who enjoys riding motorcycles, karaoke, Transformers and conversing.

I am here to learn from you and continue building upon the phenomenal Wing that I’ve heard so much about. Although we are continuously facing difficult times throughout the world, remember ‘Sempre Gumby,’ Always flexible; the key to airpower.

We are resilient, however, please continue to take care of yourself and look out for your fellow wingman. Please check on your strong friends; they need support too. See you soon.”
