1. What is your official job title?
I am a boom operator.

2.  What is your hometown? Where did you grow up?
My hometown is Kansas City. I originally grew up in Overland Park, Kansas.

3.What is your civilian job? Are you an ART, ARG or TR?
At the moment I’m on long-term orders and a TR.

4. Why did you join the AF?
I joined the Air Force to serve a bigger purpose and because I come from a family of pilots. It was always a desire of mine to be able to fly

5. What are your goals (i.e. personal, school) ?
My goals, currently, are to go back to school and get a degree in aviation at Wichita State University. I also hope to commission to be a pilot.

6. What are your hobbies?
My main hobby is playing guitar and playing country music. I also really enjoy fishing. Another hobby I used to pursue more frequently was traveling to national parks. I would road trip to them and I have been able to make it to 17 in the past few years.

7. How do you contribute to the 931st ARW mission?
I contribute to the 931st ARW mission by being the best I can be at my job and by encouraging others in my career field to do so as well.

8. What challenges do you face?
Some challenges I tend to face would be keeping my motivations to put forth maximum effort into any goal I am pursuing. Sometimes it can be easy to settle into a spot where you’re comfortable, but you only truly grow as a person by constantly pushing yourself outside of your comfort zone

9. What's your favorite part of the mission?
There’s a lot about this mission that I love. As a boom operator, I’m blessed with a lot of opportunities to do some really cool things and that has allowed me to travel to some really awesome places. I love being at the seat during air refueling, especially during real missions. It is an experience that can’t be replicated and I am very happy that I am able to do this job.
