McConnell Reservists deploy to Southwest Asia

MCCONNELL AIR FORCE BASE, Kan. --  Several Air Force Reservists from the 931st Air Refueling Group, McConnell Air Force Base, Kan., have deployed to Al Udeid Air Base, Qatar.

While deployed, aircrew and support personnel from the 931 ARG will fly aerial refueling missions, perform aircraft maintenance and fill other support roles while assigned to the 379th Air Expeditionary Wing.

"The 931st Air Refueling Group continues to provide combat-ready forces downrange," said Col. Mark S. Larson, 931 ARG Commander.  "Our Airmen are highly skilled, well trained professionals and I know they will excel in accomplishing their mission overseas.  We are proud of them and look forward to their safe return home."
