Farewell to Chief McDermott

The Chief enlisted in the Air Force in 1977 and started his career as a crew chief with the 474th Tactical Fighter Wing at Nellis Air Force Base, Nev. He retired as the 931st Aircraft Maintenance Squadron Superintendent here at McConnell, where he led over 1,000 regular Air Force, Air Force Reserve, Civil Service and contract personnel from 6 Air Force Specialty Codes in support of 63 KC-135 aircraft.
