The Air Force Assistance Fund kicked off at McConnell today, March 2.  The campaign will run until April 10.  The AFAF is an annual effort to raise money for charities that provide support to Air Force members and their families throughout the year.

"The Air Force Assistance Fund is an opportunity for Airmen to help Airmen," said Col. Mark S. Larson, commander of the Air Force Reserve 931st Air Refueling Group.  "Our people are our most valuable asset, and this program provides a means for us to make contributions that will go toward helping fellow Airmen in need.  I encourage each member of the 931st Air Refueling Group to consider participating in this charitable effort."

This year Team McConnell hopes to raise $49,669.00.  For more information about AFAF, 931st ARG members should contact Capt. Justin Taylor, the 931st ARG point of contact at justin.taylor.39@us.af.mil.  Members can also visit the official AFAF website at http://www.afassistancefund.org/.
