Brannen Parrish 931st Air Refueling Group Public Affairs MCCONNELL AIR FORCE BASE, Kan. -- All 931st Air Refueling Group Airmen and all Airmen service-wide, regardless of marital status, must revalidate their Basic Allowance for Housing as part of a push by the Air Force to ensure accuracy of allowances by June 10. Members who fail to revalidate will see their BAH entitlement lowered until the revalidation is accomplished. Airmen with dependents must provide supporting documentation relevant to their marital status, which may include: marriage certificates, birth certificates of dependents or divorce decrees. Airmen should obtain AF Form 594 "Application and Authorization to Start, Stop, or Change Basic Allowance for Quarters or Dependency Redetermination" and complete parts a, b, and c. Members should not sign the form until they arrive at the Military Pay Office in building 1185, room 118 from 6:30 to 3 p.m. during the week or 6 - 11 a.m. on Saturday of the Unit Training Assembly. "The form must have a wet signature and must be signed in front of a military pay technician," said Mary Borst, Finance Manager, 931st ARG Military Pay Office. "It takes less than a minute. We know because we've timed it."
