Eleven students from the Classical School of Wichita toured Team McConnell Jan. 30, 2018. While here, the students learned about the missions of the 22nd Air Refueling Wing, 931st Air Refueling Wing and 184th Intelligence Wing. The students also viewed a KC-135 Stratotanker Periodic Inspection performed by the 931st Maintenance Group at Hangar 10. PEs are one of the most thorough and time-consuming inspections conducted on an aircraft. It is conducted every1,800 flight hours. (U.S. Air Force photos by Tech. Sgt. Abigail Klein)

A KC-135 Stratotanker assigned to the 22nd Air Refueling Wing is delivered to Hangar 1125, Feb. 23, 2017, McConnell Air Force Base, Kan. A total force crew of Airmen from the 22nd and 931st Maintenance Groups towed the KC-135 across the flightline.
