Family Day

Lt. Col. Kate Aasen, an Air Battle Manager from the 970th Airborne Air Control Squadron out of Tinker AFB, explains her unit's mission to Master Sgt. David Vogel, first sergeant, 931st Air Refueling Group, his wife Laura, and the couple's daughers, Tori and Chloe, during the group family day, June 3. The 970th AACS provided an E-3 Sentry static display so 931st Airmen and their families could learn more about other Air Force Reserve units. The E-3 Sentry, and the KC-135 Stratotanker used by the 931st ARG for refueling, were both developed on the Boeing 707 airframes, but the Sentry has a slightly greater wingspan.
