Maria Ruiz, Self Aid and Buddy Care instructor, 22nd Air Refueling Wing shows Senior Airman Garrett Patrick, 931st Maintenance Squadron how to properly administer a nasopharyngeal tube during SABC training here, April 26. Nasopharyngeal tubes are used to open airways and restore breathing for injured personnel. Deploying Airmen are issued the tube in their individual first aid kits.
