Baker is the principal of Meadowlark at Prairie Creek Elementary School in Derby, Kan., and the honorary commander of the 931st ARG's Operations Support Flight. She and other honorary commanders of active-duty units at McConnell Air Force Base, Kan., were invited to fly with the 931st crew during an aerial refueling mission on Aug. 15.
