Col. Ted Mathews

Col. Ted Mathews enjoys the moment during his promotion ceremony Saturday. Helping pin on the eagles that represent his new colonel rank are his sister, Catherine Mathews, his nephew, Joseph, and his niece, Gabrielle. Colonel Mathews relinquished command of the 18th Air Refueling Squadron to Lt. Col. Tony Brusca during a ceremony a few hours later. The 18th ARS is the flying squadron of the 931st Air Refueling Squadron.
