Moving Up, Moving On

Lt. Col. Ted Mathews, 18th Air Refueling Squadron commander, and other members of his squadron ride on a bus to the flightline at McConnell Air Force Base, Kan. A ceremony to promote Mathews to colonel is scheduled for Saturday, a few hours before he relinquishes command of the 18th ARS to Lt. Col. Tony Brusca during a change of command ceremony. Colonel Mathews has also been named the new vice commander of the 927th Air Refueling Wing at MacDill Air Force Base, Fla.
