Three NCAA head football coaches--Troy Calhoun of Air Force (in blue), Jim Tressel of Ohio State (in red), and Jim Grobe of Wake Forest (in black)--started May 28 at McConnell Air Force Base, Kan., telling Teresita "Shorty" Walline what they would like for breakfast. McConnell was the first stop of Coaches Tour 2009, a morale-boosting mission that brings NCAA coaches to U.S. servicemembers. Walline is a mess attendant at the base dining facility, where the coaches soon after attended a breakfast with regular, reserve and national guard Airmen.
