Bo Knows Refueling

Bo Rader, newspaper photojournalist, films through the rear window of a KC-135 Stratotanker's boom pod during an aerial refueling training mission on April 28. Mr. Rader and a writer from the Wichita Eagle, a daily newspaper in Wichita, Kan., travelled with representatives from the 931st Air Refueling Group and the 22nd Air Refueling Wing to Tinker Air Force Base, Okla., to tour a depot where KC-135s are rebuilt. Tech. Sgt. Jeff Hollaway (pictured) was the boom operator of the 22nd ARW crew that flew the KC-135 to Tinker. The 931st is an Air Force Reserve unit and the 22nd is its active-duty host unit at McConnell Air Force Base, Kan. (U.S. Air Force photo/Tech. Sgt. Jason Schaap)
