TINKER AIR FORCE BASE, Okla. -- Joseph Brown takes a break from the rigors of living on "Base X." He is the son of Tech. Sgt. John Brown from the 72nd Security Forces Squadron here. Joseph and other children of airmen assigned here participated in Operation KUDOS, designed to help "Kids Understand Deployment Operations." They received briefings, processed through a deployment line, received ID cards and dog tags. At "Base X," they received samples of meals ready to eat and toured through tents that house sleeping quarters, kitchens and recreation areas. (U.S. Air Force photo by Airman K.L. Kimbrell)
