Ziggurat at Ur

This ziggurat is a popular archeological site at the ancient city of Ur in Iraq. Staff Sgt. Scott Gaitley, 931st Air Refueling Group historian, recently visited the city while deployed to Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. The earliest parts of the Bible describe Ur as the original home of Abraham. (Courtesy photo)
