Master Sgt. William Souder and Lt. Col. James Wohlwend look at a high school yearbook printed in 1991. Colonel Wohlwend was Sergeant Souder's Air Force Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps commander at Derby High School in Derby, Kan. The colonel is still commander at the school and Sergeant Souder is now a Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning supervisor assigned to the 931st Civil Engineer Squadron. The two reunited 17 years after Sergeant Souder graduated from Derby when some of Colonel Wohlwend's cadets visited McConnell Air Force Base, Kan., on Oct. 30.
