A KC-135 Stratotanker lifts off from the runway at McConnell Air Force Base, Kan., June 27, 2014. McConnell is home to the Air Force Reserve 931st Air Refueling Group and the active duty 22nd Air Refueling Wing, both of which fly and maintain the KC-135 aircraft assigned to the base.
