Open skies

An OC-135B Open Skies aircraft approaches the refueling boom of a KC-135 Stratotanker assigned to McConnell Air Force Base, Kan., during an air refueling mission, Sept. 22, 2014. The KC-135 was operated by an aircrew made up of Air Force Reservists from the 931st Air Refueling Group at McConnell AFB. The United States of America Open Skies OC-135B Observation Aircraft supports the Open Skies Treaty. The aircraft flies unarmed observation flights over participating parties of the treaty.
