A KC-135 Stratotanker assigned to McConnell Air Force Base, Kan., extends its air refueling boom toward a receiver aircraft during an air refueling training exercise, March 7, 2015. The exercise was focused on receiver/tanker training, during which one KC-135 refuels another in flight. The aircraft were operated by Total Force aircrews made up of members of the active duty 22nd Air Refueling Wing and the Air Force Reserve 931st Air Refueling Group.
