Kleespie assumes command

Dole Community Center, McConnell Air Force Base, Kan., June 7, 2015. Kleespie assumed command of the 18 ARS, replacing outgoing 18 ARS commander, Lt. Col. Eric Vitosh, who will be taking an assignment with First Air Force National Security Emergency Preparedness Directorate as a liaison to the state of Kansas with the Reserve Individual Mobilization Augmentee Program. Kleespie is a command pilot with more than 12,000 combined military and civilian flying hours. He now takes over command of the second largest tanker squadron in Air Force Reserve Command.
