McConnell and local leadership gathered for a ribbon-cutting ceremony to mark the completion of the $267 million construction projects for the new aircraft. The construction originally began in 2014, and included three new hangars built to create six total bays to accommodate the KC-46A and other Air Mobility Command aircraft.
