A pilot for the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds Air Demonstration Squadron, flys away from the boom of a KC-135 Stratotanker operated by an aircrew from the 931st Air Refueling Wing, Nov. 2, 2017. The aircrew performed multiple refuelings in to help the team make a non-stop, long-distance flight to Joint Base San Antonio, Texas. The KC-135 provided cross-country air refueling support for the Thunderbirds. The squadron was on their way to perform at Joint Base San Antonio, Texas.
