McConnell Reservist recevies Bronze Star
Lt. Col. Johnathan Jordan received the Bronze Star during an official ceremony Feb. 5, 2021, at McConnell Air Force Base, Kansas. Jordan was presented the decoration, the fourth highest military honor, in recognition of his heroic actions after Iran launched 16 missiles at U.S. Forces in Iraq in January 2020. 2020 AFAF campaign kicks off
The 2020 Air Force Assistance Fund has begun and will run from March 2-April 10. The Air Force Assistance Fund (AFAF) specifically benefits all Air Force Members and their families, whether they are Reservists, Guardsmen, or Active Duty personnel. The goal is 100 percent contact to all 931st Air Refueling Wing members to reach maximum participation. This year has expanded opportunities for donations from Traditional Reservists, Full-time Reserve Members, Retirees, and both GS and NAF Civilian DoD employees. Training will be given to unit POCs as to which avenues of donation are available to each category, along with all tools and forms needed to submit contributions. To become a unit representative, Contact Maj. Jeremy White at 743-3251.
