Changing bulbs
Dan Kontz replaces lightbulbs in the 931st Air Refueling Group Headquarters building. Kontz performs building and grounds maintenance for the 931st ARG. Kontz has been with the 931st ARG since Sept. 2004 and has been a civilian employee on McConnell, Air Force Base , Kan. since the summer of 2003. Dan’s father, Lt. Col. Keith Kontz, is the 931st ARG Chief of Standardization and Evaluation.

Commander in Chief
Col. William Cahoon, 931st Air Refueling Group Commander, greets President George Bush at McConnell Air Force Base, Kan., on May 4. The president was in Kansas to visit Greensburg, Kan., a town west of McConnell AFB that was destroyed by a tornado a year prior.
