Fly-in event opens doors for McConnell Reservists
Capt. Sierra Dopfel, 905th ARS KC-46 mobility pilot and chief of scheduling, flys her Piper Cherokee 140 for the event. Dopfel, a former boom operator for the 18th Air Refueling Squadron, took part in an organized 931 Air Refueling Wing fly-in, which took place on the second day of the Wing's unit training assembly. Flying Coach Class
Four of the Airmen who recently helped fly five college football coaches to Southeast Asia were from the 931st Air Refueling Group. The coaches (back row from left to right) included's Yale's Jack Siedlecki (with white shirt), Georgia's Mark Richt, Miami's Randy Shannon, Notre Dame's Charlie Weis, and Auburn's Tommy Tuberville (with orange hat). With Richt's hand on his shoulder is pilot and Atlanta, Ga., native Capt. Eric Junkins. On the far left is Staff Sgt. Jon Barber (w black t-shirt), 931st Maintenance Squadron crew chief. Flying Night Lights

Flying photographer captures 'The Final Frame'
A photo used for the back cover of the May/June edition of Airman magazine was taken by Lt. Col. Tsuyoshi Tung, a Reserve KC-135 Stratotanker pilot assigned to the 931st Air Refueling Group. Colonel Tung, an amateur photographer who has enjoyed photography since high school, captured the photo during a 12-day aeromedical evacuation mission to Afghanistan.
