Airmen experience KC-46 AROS
Senior Airman Yoonhong Min, 22nd Aerospace Medical Squadron bioenvironmental technician, tests the KC-46 Air Refueling Operator Station (AROS) Sept. 28, 2015, at McConnell Air Force Base, Kan. Boeing representatives visited McConnell for two days to give Airmen the opportunity to simulate an air refueling contact on a KC-46A Pegasus. Some of the features of the AROS include 24-inch displays for a 3D refueling picture, a 185-degree panoramic field-of-view, and recordable aerial refueling data and camera system. McConnell Reservists ‘fuel’ Thunderbirds’ mission
The U. S. Air Force Thunderbirds Air Demonstration Squadron, fly their F-16 Fighting Falcons in formation near the refueling boom of a KC-135 Stratotanker from McConnell Air Force Base, Kan., Sept. 3, 2015. The KC-135 provided cross-country air refueling support for the Thunderbirds. The squadron was on their way to the Cleveland National Air Show in Cleveland, Ohio, Sept. 5-7. McConnell Reservists ‘fuel’ Thunderbirds’ mission
The U. S. Air Force Thunderbirds Air Demonstration Squadron, fly their F-16 Fighting Falcons in formation near the wing of a KC-135 Stratotanker from McConnell Air Force Base, Kan., Sept. 3, 2015.
