Josh Olson, 22 ARW commander, tour Team McConnell Headquarters Feb. 3, 2018, at McConnell Air Force Base, Kan. Since being appointed as commander in July 2016, Miller has made it a point to understand each reserve wing’s role in the respective Air Force core missions they support. She and Chief Master Sgt. Ericka Kelly, AFRC command chief, visited the Air Force Reserve’s 931 ARW to see first-hand how its Citizen Airmen contribute to its in-air refueling mission. Wichita students tour Team McConnell
Eleven students from the Classical School of Wichita toured Team McConnell Jan. 30, 2018. While here, the students learned about the missions of the 22nd Air Refueling Wing, 931st Air Refueling Wing and 184th Intelligence Wing. The students also viewed a KC-135 Stratotanker Periodic Inspection performed by the 931st Maintenance Group at Hangar 10. PEs are one of the most thorough and time-consuming inspections conducted on an aircraft. It is conducted every1,800 flight hours. (U.S. Air Force photos by Tech. Sgt. Abigail Klein)

Airmen visit Arrowhead Stadium
Members of the 931st Air Refueling Wing toured the inside of Arrowhead Stadium, the primary home venue of the Kansas City Chiefs, Nov. 21, 2017. The tour also included members of the 184th Intelligence Wing, the Kansas and Missouri National Guard, and soldiers from Fort Riley, Kan. As part of the tour, Team McConnell members were presented with a hooded sweatshirt feautring the 931 ARW patch.
